Until Jan 7 2018 - Rembrandt: Lightening the Darkness at Norwich Castle

The exhibition will focus on aspects of Rembrandt's uses of light and shade. Perhaps the most revered artist of the European tradition, Rembrandt was a supreme communicator and this exhibition will highlight the extraordinary collection of 93 etchings by him held by the castle, combined with a select group of related oil paintings and drawings on loan. Until Jan 2 - Skate Yarmouth at Gt Yarmouth Market Place

There's nothing quite as Christmassy as getting your skates on, then slipping, sliding and gliding around a chilly real ice rink, wrapped up warm with Christmas lights twinkling above you. June 23-Sept 23 - The Paston Treasure: Riches and Rarities of the Known World, Norwich Castle

Norwich Castle, in collaboration with Yale Center for British Art, is staging a major exhibition which takes the extraordinary painting, The Paston Treasure (c. 1663-5), as its starting point. Gathering together some of the depicted treasures in this mysterious painting for the first time in three centuries, the exhibition explores the world of the Paston family and their magnificent collections once held at Oxnead Hall in Norfolk. Aug 10 - Classic Ibiza at Blickling Hall

Classic Ibiza sees the Urban Soul Orchestra (USO) and a live DJ, in conjunction with Ministry of Sound, perform a playlist of iconic dance music anthems from the 'White Island'.

Aug 11 - Great British Prom at Blickling Hall

In 2018 the Blickling Proms will be celebrating 100 Years of the RAF with the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Anthony Inglis, joined by the Rolls-Royce Spitfire.
