Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure to host its February Fantasy half-term event online
As most events are on hold and attractions in the county are closed until further notice, families will be able to enjoy an online half term extravaganza by East Anglia’s Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure.
The Jurassic-themed park will host its online February Fantasy event through half term, in place of its usually popular event at the park in Lenwade. Beginning on Monday 15th February and lasting the entire week, the final event will take place on Friday 19th February.

The schedule for the week includes:
• Animal Day – hosted on Monday, there will be an introduction to the hosts and Dippy to find out what the week consists of, while meeting some of the animals who live in the park’s secret garden
• Adventure Day - a hunt to catch the troublesome trolls, it will follow the trail around the park on Tuesday
• Reading Day – on Wednesday, hosts will read aloud their favourite fairy stories
• Active Day – Dippy’s Dinosaur Disco Dancing will be on Thursday
• Craft Park – on the final day, create frozen fossil fingers with Dippy using ice
Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure will encourage viewers to send in their favourite fairy and dinosaur stories and best disco dancing photographs via email to marketing@roarrda.co.uk, with the best ones winning prizes.
The park’s company director, Adam Goymour, said of the plans: “Whilst we would’ve loved to put on our annual event which brings so much fun and joy to families across East Anglia, the nation’s ongoing battle with Covid-19 continues to take precedence and we must remain closed.
“However, despite this, we are not going to let that stop our fun, so the events team has put in a lot of effort to move the February Fantasy online, which is fantastic. With weeks of planning and plenty of imagination, we hope the timetable of activities and entertainment will give children something to look forward to and break up the monotony of the everyday.”
In addition to its February Fantasy event, Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure has produced a range of at-home activities, consisting of colouring, puzzles and quizzes, designed to be used as part of home-schooling for younger children, which will be available to download from its website.
The park will also be hosting a variety of dinosaur-themed activities every Friday across its social channels, suitable for all the family.
