Pensthorpe launch new events for nature lovers

Pensthorpe Natural Park, near Fakenham, has announced a new programme of special expert-led events aimed at nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

From guided garden walks to night-time bat and moth tours and even opportunities to hear the majestic dawn chorus as the sun rises over the reserve, the events are accessible to both novices and the experienced alike.

Hosted by Pensthorpe’s experts including its head gardener and reserve manager, the sessions unveil top tips and trade secrets of life ‘behind the scenes’ at the reserve, and offer plenty of practical ‘take-home’ advice for delegates. They also touch on the history of the habitats they focus on along with the species that live there.

Deb Jordan, owner of Pensthorpe Natural Park, said: “These events will lift the lid on some of the wonders of the natural world. They are intended to charm and inspire our visitors whilst demonstrating some of the special wildlife and habitats we have here in our unique Wensum Valley location.”
