The official visitor website for Norfolk
Pensthorpe Natural Park

Now is not the time for tourism - we'll see you when it's safe!

We look forward to welcoming visitors to Norfolk in future, but now is not the time. We ask people not to come while the country endures the pandemic and until it is safe again.

The government has said "people should avoid travelling unless it is essential". Essential travel, the Department for Health and Social Care said, "does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays".

For residents and people who are already here, please act responsibly and conform to government guidelines on social distancing.

If you do go out to get some fresh air, stay at least 2 metres away from other people outside your family group.

In the meantime, take a look around our website and plan what you'll do when you are able to visit Norfolk - look at some of the wonderful accommodation you'll be able to stay in, get inspiration from our blogs and explore the various parts of the county.

Please stay safe.

Walking in west Norfolk

Broads National Park

The waterways and countryside are a valued way to connect with nature and are hugely beneficial for wellbeing during stressful times. Broads Authority staff will continue to work hard to care for the Broads and maintain our most important functions. Our operations staff and rangers still intend to be out in the Broads, maintaining the waterways and keeping everyone as safe as possible.
