Chantry Place announces which retailers remain open during new lockdown

Chantry Place has released details of which retailers will stay open during lockdown from 26th December 2020.

The latest government guidance on COVID-19 is that essential shops, delivery, takeaway and Click & Collect services can remain open in tier 4.

The car park at Chantry Place is open, with free parking for NHS workers, and the main opening times for the centre are 9am-6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sundays. The centre is open on New Year’s Day.

A spokesperson for Chantry Place said: “It is a blow for our retailers at one of their busiest times of year with Boxing Day and January sales normally taking place, people enjoying a meal out, and after retailers put so much time, energy and work into reopening after lockdown 2. Our priority right now is to support our retailers and continue with our COVID safety measures, including regular cleaning and our security team reminding visitors about maintaining physical distancing and wearing face coverings.

“We will provide updates on our website and social channels on visiting safely during lockdown, and will continue to follow further government advice on when we can fully reopen. Our car park remains open and we’re offering free parking for our NHS heroes. Up-to-date information on which retailers are open can be found on our website or follow chantryplacenorwich on social media for updates.”

Chantry Place is home to over 90 fantastic shops, cafés and restaurants, including Apple, Zara, Disney and House of Fraser.
