Join us to count the birds in and over the churchyard as part of the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch
Enjoy the tranquillity of the rural churchyard of All Saints Church, Hemblington, whilst we look out for birds and other wildlife in and around the church. Surrounded by fields and incorporating two wildlife conservation areas, the number of species can be quite amazing. Results are forwarded to the RSPB as it forms part of the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch weekend. Hot and cold refreshments will also be available as well as knowledgeable birders to help with ID! The interior of the round towered church is worth a visit at any time – important large wall painting of St Christopher, coloured octagonal font and several pre-Reformation features. It’s a lovely experience – but do come along warmly dressed!
