Clippesby is a small village to the north of Great Yarmouth in the heart of the Broads National Park consisting largely of farm land and holiday accommodation.

The church is one of the old, round-towered churches so typical of this area, with an added octagonal top. Influences from the Saxon, Norman, medieval and Victorian periods are all visible in the building. Clippesby also has a bike hire centre for exploring further afield.
