It is about 10 miles from the Market Towns of Fakenham and Dereham. and it has a population of about 300.

Sometimes spelt Bintry, you will find this village 8 miles north east of Dereham and 9 miles south east of Fakenham. It has a pretty church, St Swithin, with a 14th century tower and beautiful stained glass windows.
Bintree is a village and civil parish in Norfolk, England, about nine miles (14 km) south-east of Fakenham. For the purposes of local government it falls within the Upper Wensum Ward of Breckland District Council and the Elmham and Mattishall Division of Norfolk County Council.
The villages name means ‘Bynna’s tree’.
Notable landmarks in the village include the village sign, a traditional red phone box and the now-disused Bintry Mill.
