Description

True’s Yard is a socially driven tourist attraction, community hub and education centre located in the North End of King’s Lynn
The Museum aims for visitors to discover and enjoy King’s Lynn’s North End past and present through its remarkable heritage assets. At its heart is the last surviving fisherfolk yard with two late 18th century cottages, which are grade 2 listed buildings. There is also a Victorian smokehouse and fishing boat on site.
The Museum runs temporary exhibitions, lunchtime talks, family and local history classes and tours of the North End. You can also drop by to visit the Museum’s gift shop or enjoy a delicious slice of cake in our Georgian panelled tearoom- perfect for meetups and available to hire for events
