Description
As Norfolk’s largest remaining ancient woodland, Foxley wood is home to plenty of interesting species. Over 350 flowering plants have been recorded, and there are many familiar and rarer birds to be seen (or heard!).
A hotspot for butterflies, Foxley is the perfect place for a spring or summery woodland walk.
There is a no-dogs policy. Please check our website for more information.
The site can be wet or muddy underfoot, particularly during bluebell time due to the number of visitors in early spring.
