Norfolk’s best Zoo!
As part of the Zoological Society of East Anglia, Banham Zoo is the perfect place to connect with nature and discover your wild side. With hundreds of animals from around the world, set in over 50 acres of beautiful Norfolk open parkland and gardens, hours of adventure await.
Enjoy a full day out with plenty of activities to thrill and entertain, all whilst learning more about the conservation of some incredible species – from snow leopards to African Penguins and Amur tigers to more familiar animals found in our own British wildlife.
Step inside the wonderful world of our Tropical House, where you’ll find free-flying birds, coppery titi monkeys, two-toed Linnes sloth and exotic plants from across South America. Adventure up close with our tallest residents and take a stroll through the clouds on the giraffe walkway.
Join us for our daily educational animal talks, ongoing seasonal events, and interactive bug handling sessions in our Discovery Centre to get up close and learn about the incredible conservation work we do here at the zoo.
At feeding time, head to one of our restaurants or kiosks, where you’ll find lots of tasty treats to enjoy, setting you up for the rest of your day! Gluten-free, vegan, Vegan and Vegetarian options are all available.
And the best part is every ticket, membership and donation at Banham Zoo goes directly into supporting vital conservation work – from protecting species to working with international breeding programmes.
