Here at Norfolk Accommodation with mYminibreak, we offer cosy bed and breakfast accommodation just a 2-minute short stroll from the sand. All of our charming bed and breakfasts welcome pets, making them perfect for a trip where you can wake up to a delicious breakfast every morning and devote your time to the things that really matter—like lounging by the fire and exploring the countryside. We made sure that the rooms’ furnishings and the laid-back atmosphere permeating the entire resort remained true to our farmy roots when we converted from a working dairy farm to a holiday destination. It was important to us that this place for relaxation and reconnection with nature be set apart from the bustle of the local community, so we chose a spot on the outskirts of the village of Heacham that is set down from the road, providing us with protection from the sea breeze while also making it difficult to be seen from the road. Norfolk Accommodation’s primary selling point is its location on the North Norfolk Coast, close to both popular tourist spots like Hunstanton and Sheringham as well as natural areas like Wells-next-the-Sea and Cley.

North Norfolk coastal towns like Holkham, Brancaster, Cromer, and Burnham Market are all easy to get to by car, and we’re also close to the Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. And, after visiting all of them, you can unwind with a drink after a day of sightseeing without having to worry about driving, as many restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance of our seaside retreat.

You and your four-legged friend are welcome at any of our dog-friendly bed and breakfasts, where you can spend a peaceful night close to the shore. You’ve got the Churnery, the Woodshed, the Roost, and the Stables. The rooms are all unique and charming, and they all have comfortable beds for you and your pet, in addition to the complimentary continental breakfast served in a country buffet style. All rooms feature outdoor seating, and guests have use of a shared barbecue and fire pit.

Norfolk Accommodation with mYminibreak – The Stables – With an authentic stable door, a luxurious double bed, and an en suite with shower, toilet, and a sink, The Stables makes for a wonderful base of operations for all your activities in Norfolk, even if that just includes resting! The 1-by-1.5 metre skylight means that you can lie in bed and watch the stars in a dark, open sky as you settle down for the night.

Norfolk Accommodation with mYminibreak – The Roost – Once housing our chickens, The Roost has now been lovingly renovated into a comfortable cottage style room with a walk-in shower and is on the ground floor, making it an accessible room. It overlooks the picturesque local farmland and is sat snugly in a corner plot, giving peace and tranquility to our guests.

Norfolk Accommodation with mYminibreak – The Woodshed – This was originally The Woodshed for the Dairy Farm; it has now been renovated into a characterful, cosy B&B cottage room for two. It has no neighbouring rooms, is very private, and has its own outside space with seating. This is a ground floor room with a walk-in shower, making it an accessible room suitable for everyone.

Norfolk Accommodation with mYminibreak – The Churnery – The most important room on the Dairy Farm, this was our churning room. The Churnery is our most romantic cottage room; with a sloping beamed roof, skylight, and fairy lights, this is perfect for a couple. The Churnery has a bath and shower, making for a very relaxing stay. This room can also be booked together with The Old Barn Self Catering Cottage as an annex, as it has a lockable adjoining door.

Breakfast – We offer a generous buffet-style breakfast for all our guests in our country-style breakfast room. With space for everyone and an east-facing view to enjoy the morning sunrise. There is also an outdoor courtyard adjacent to the breakfast room so that you can sit outside and enjoy breakfast al fresco if you wish.

The majority of the businesses along the Norfolk Coast are dog-friendly, with many even providing water bowls. While dogs are not permitted on some of our beaches between Easter and Halloween, many others are dog-friendly all year round. Heacham South Beach is the perfect place to take your dog for a day at the beach thanks to its expansive stretches of sand and shallow waters that are perfect for paddling. In addition, we have a dog wash for when you’re ready to clean up after Fido. The following are some of the beaches that are close to us:

This is a great place to go on vacation because it has beautiful scenery and a lot of fun things to do, see, and eat, like hiking, sightseeing, shopping, and eating at some great restaurants owned by locals.

We have four chalets available in the coastal village of Heacham, near the seaside town of Hunstanton, only a short stroll from the beach! They have each been designed to capture that farmhouse old-world charm with rustic wooden features, and throughout all of our Norfolk chalets, we offer cosy, single-story accommodation.
Norfolk chalet rooms offer a prime location on the beachfront of England as a true traditional chalet farm holiday, surrounded by fields of rural countryside and a fabulous, unspoiled beach.

The majority of the land surrounding Norfolk chalets is owned by the Wild Ken Hill Estate, which is a rewilding project focusing on returning 1500 acres of Norfolk land to nature and letting it become wild again. The project will also be re-introducing populations of wild animals to the land, some of which will include beavers, cattle, and wild boar, and encouraging birdlife such as kites, barn owls, and more.
Our Norfolk chalet comes with a luxurious double bed, an authentic stable door, and a window looking out over the sunrise. The Norfolk chalet has a 1 x 1.5-metre skylight for gazing at the stars while you rest.

The Norfolk chalet includes a shower, toilet, sink, and kitchenette area for cooking. Each Norfolk chalet has an outside breakfast coffee table where you can sit and enjoy the country air whilst reading a good book or anything your heart desires.

We also include a cosy, realistic stove fire and smart TVs. Norfolk chalets don’t get better than this!

Our Norfolk chalets are perfectly placed to explore the unspoiled, rolling countryside of the Norfolk coast, with miles of scenic trails and footpaths on our doorstep.
The traditional seaside town of Hunstanton is also within a short 5-minute drive or a lovely, scenic 3-mile walk from our Norfolk chalets along the coast, where you can spend an afternoon walking on the beach, taking in the sea views, visiting the resorts and all they have to offer, or treating yourselves to a fish and chip supper as you watch the sunset over the sea.

The upper end of Hunstanton Town and the older area now known as Old Hunstanton are where you can find a variety of pubs to sample some great real ales and craft beers, not to mention a host of restaurants and delis that serve food using locally sourced ingredients. For those looking for a little more history and culture, the old villages and towns have plenty to offer in relation to notable figures of the past and rock formations dating back millions of years old.

Down the road in the other direction is the first local shop, which is also only a 3 minute walk away and stocks all sorts of supplies, including meals, ingredients, tasty goodies, and beach toys, so that you never have to worry about forgetting something and having your holiday ruined.
