Details
Faircraft Loynes was established in 1878 by John Loynes; it was taken over in 2003 and now operates under the name of Norfolk Broads Direct; although John Loynes’ name still remains. The fleet today is very different from those in John Loynes’ day, but our commitment to providing the highest standard of boats and customer care are the same as ever
At Norfolk Broads Direct – Faircraft Loynes we operate a policy of constantly updating our boats; this ensures that our modern fleet of hire cruisers remains one of the best on the Broads. You can choose from a wide range of stylish cruisers that cater for parties between 2-11 people
Our cruisers have been independently graded by Visit England. All have achieved a 4 or 5 star rating. We also offer Premier Cruisers which take the 5 star rated cruisers to a new level, equipped to the highest specification.
We are members of the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Therefore, we consider the environmental impact of all that we do. As a result of this we designed a special Low Wash Hull which is on over 50% of our hire cruisers.
All of the cruisers have a 240V electricity socket, warm air heating; colour TV/DVD player, radio/CD player and many have a PlayStation 3. PlayStation 4 or an Xbox 360.
If you would rather stay on dry land, we also offer waterside holiday homes. Choose from a two or three storey cottage, a single storey apartment or a two storey penthouse. All of our holiday homes have a fantastic view of the River Bure or our busy boatyard.
