Using willow and other natural fibres learn to make simple structures. Learn a variety of 'off loom' techniques for sculpture and hangings for interior or exterior pieces.
Workshops are suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience. Students will be able to achieve a selection of sample pieces showing a variety of techniques and some experimental pieces, combining weaving, wrapping and braiding. Remember to wear suitable clothes. For larger structures there is an outdoor area to work sheltered from rain, but it can get windy, hot or cold. Suitable for all abilities. Students with previous experience will be able to make larger and more complex pieces.
