The exhibition will focus on aspects of Rembrandt's uses of light and shade. Perhaps the most revered artist of the European tradition, Rembrandt was a supreme communicator and this exhibition will highlight the extraordinary collection of 93 etchings by him held by the castle, combined with a select group of related oil paintings and drawings on loan. The annual 3-day Christmas extravaganza with craft, food and gifts stalls and festive entertainment on the Market Place and in the Minster. Details

Nov 24-Jan 2 - Skate Yarmouth at Gt Yarmouth Market Place

There's nothing quite as Christmassy as getting your skates on, then slipping, sliding and gliding around a chilly real ice rink, wrapped up warm with Christmas lights twinkling above you. Skate during the day, at evenings or weekends. There's special late night skating sessions on Wednesday for late night shopping as well. Details

Summer 2018 - The Paston Treasure: Riches and Rareties of the Known World

This exhibition will explore the world of the seventeenth century from the vantage point of a single painting. This work survives as a unique record of a lost collection – owned by the Pastons at the height of their prosperity but dispersed by the early eighteenth century as the family declined. Details
