Details
Limes Farm is a former working farm, situated in a secluded, peaceful setting. The property is tucked away down a country lane, right in the heart of the Broads National Park and is accessed through a neighbouring farm, via a tiny rural access road.
Our family-run holiday accommodation sits amongst fields, on the outskirts of a pretty Norfolk village, with the Broads nature conservation area literally on the doorstep. The properties consist of a traditional thatched farmhouse, cottage and farm buildings, all beautifully restored with an 'eco' twist. Our 3 holiday cottages sleep between 2 and 5 people. As well as well-maintained, fully enclosed gardens, there are country footpaths all around the property and an abundance of wildlife, including the rare Swallowtail butterfly, to be seen on site.
Our unique setting makes a perfect base for walkers, birdwatchers, cyclists, beach lovers and nature enthusiasts, as well as for those just looking to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Broads. Surrounded by rivers and waterways, we are ideally placed to access a range of boating and water activities (including canoe and kayak hire, self-driven day boats, the Electric Eel boat tour from How Hill and sailing from Hunter's Yard).
Youngsters have plenty of room to let off steam and there are a host of nearby activities and attractions to keep all members of the family occupied when required.
Limes Farm Holidays are 2018 winners of the Broads Tourism NST Award and Limes Farmhouse was a finalist in the Best Self Catering for Norfolk and Suffolk category of the awards.
