Once a piece of rough grazing marsh these beautiful gardens were established by the original owner of How Hill House, Edward Thomas Boardman in 1904. A series of inter-connected ponds and channels surrounded by raised beds which are home to a spectacular range of azalea's rhododendrons, specimen trees, exotic plants and shrubs which were once common in the Norfolk Broads.

Opening details

The Secret gardens are now open every day.


Entry is free but donations to How Hill Trust charity are welcome.
