All Saints Church, Hemblington NR13 4EF

All welcome to visit All Saints Church, Hemblington, at any time. It is open every day. Level access including W.C. Refreshments always available. Churchyards are managed by The Friends of the church and local conservation groups.

The main speaker at the joint meeting of Hemblington Parish Council and the Friends of All Saints Church, Hemblington, will be that well known and respected landscape historian Prof. Tom Williamson (UEA). His theme will be “Trees and Woods in the Norfolk Landscape” but it will doubtless include much more in relation to the history of the area as well as some of his famous anecdotes. Refreshments will be available before the Friends AGM begins. Details about an exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of the Parish Council will also be announced at this meeting. If you have not visited the church before, it will be a good opportunity to see the unique large Medieval wall painting of St Christopher, detailing his life pre- and post-conversion, as well as the many interesting architectural features in this remote and beautiful little church.
