Kayak Safari at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen

Kayak Safari at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen

Details

Discover the wildlife of The Broads National Park in a whole new way. Take part in one of our guided kayak tours on the River Yare and adjoining broads around RSPB Strumpshaw Fen nature reserve.
Each tour starts with a walk through the reserve’s woodland and wetland habitats, once on the water the kayak tours combine wildlife watching with a water-based workout as you paddle along the river yare and then duck off into the hidden reedy jungle of Surlingham and Rockland Broads.
Tours last approximately 2.5 hours (time on the water) and are led by qualified and experienced British Canoeing river guides. Kayaks are tandem two-person kayaks of a very stable design, perfect for beginners.
Booking is essential as places are limited to 8 per tour.
