Guided Walk, Mon 22 Jul 2019

Discover King's Lynn on foot with the King's Lynn Town Guides - The New Lande

The New Lande was an area of land which the Bishop of Norwich made available for settlement in the middle of the 12th century. It stretches from the Purfleet to St Nicholas’ Chapel and as we walk we will look at the way the town expanded to the north from medieval times to the present day, and talk about some of the people who lived in this ‘New Lande’.

The King's Lynn Town Guides give their services voluntarily. The money from the walks goes directly to conservation projects in the town.
