Heritage Event, Fri 27 Jul 2018

Four of King’s Lynn’s heritage venues are coming together to offer a special ‘Norfolk Day’ ticket, offering admission to all four at a one-off discounted price on Friday July 27 only. The theme for the day at the museums will be the life of Frederick Savage, with different activities happening across the sites, all exploring the life of one of Lynn’s famous sons.

Stories of Lynn, Lynn Museum, True’s Yard Museum, and the Custom House’s exhibition ‘Inspirational Norfolk Women’ can be visited for just £8 for an adult ticket, £7 for a concession, £5 for a child, or £22 for a family – over 30% off the usual price.

Three of the venues will host costumed characters and craft activities exploring 'The Life of Frederick Savage' - Lynn's famous industrialist:

Stories of Lynn - 'Savage as Mayor' - 1:30-4pm
Lynn Museum - 'Savage and fairgrounds' - 10am-12:30pm
True's Yard - Drop-in Savage-themed children's activities - 11am-3pm

And the fourth will host a fascinating exhibition:
Custom House - 'Inspirational West Norfolk Women' - 10am-5pm

For further information, visit the venues' websites.
