Theories of the Earth
Wayne Binitie, Flora Bowden and Shaun Fraser

Theories of the Earth brings together three artists whose work is defined by shared interests in elemental aspects of the environment, the deep histories of the earth and its geological formation. Wayne Binitie, Flora Bowden and Shaun Fraser show work in a variety of media – glass and bronze sculptures, drawings, prints, video and sound and jewellery – that speaks of the histories and futures of the human inhabitation of the earth.

Colour in Nature
Stewart Hearn, Barbara Howey, Laura Huston, Femke Lemmens

Colour in Nature tackles a variety of underlying ideas of landscape change, and includes glass sculptures and vessels by Stewart Hearn, a series of jewel coloured paintings of landscapes tainted by pollution, ‘Poisoned Idyll’ by arbara Howey. There will also be recent ceramics experimenting with colours and pattern, by Laura Huston and textiles by Femke Lemmens, using natural dyes and intuitive weaving techniques.
