In light of COVID-19, please make sure you check with your travel and accommodation providers before travelling.

Sue Campion RBA is primarily a colourist. She works in oil and pastel combining wonderful rich colours with a strong sense of pattern and design. She works from her studio in Shrewsbury and paints the Shropshire landscape as well as travelling and painting in Spain and Italy.

John Pollex makes highly coloured earthenware pots with expressive abstract markings. Using brushes and spatulas, intensely coloured earthenware slips are freely applied in a painterly abstract manner onto highly individual thrown and altered pots. The images often reflect his interest in Eastern meditative philosophies. He sees his work in the area of three dimensional painting, whereby clay substitutes canvas.
