Martham Scarecrow Festival

This popular event takes place on the village greens and various other locations around the village over the bank holiday weekend. The event will take place on Sunday 5th and Monday 6th May 2019, 10am to 5pm both days

Programmes will be sold from the main marquee on the green in the centre of the village by the Co-op for £1. Inside the programmes you will find details of the event, maps of the village, locations of the Scarecrows, Yarn Bombing, Decorated Houses and also the Garden/Garage Sales.

As usual the Family Treasure Hunt and Children’s Treasure Hunt will be taking place for only £1 for all the family to enjoy and win a cash prize. Whilst in the marquee, why not take a look around the Bric-a-Brac sale and also at all the different prizes which can be won on the various different raffles which will take place over the two days.

Refreshments will be available on the village greens, businesses within the village and also at the churches.

Don’t forget to head down to the Main Green where the Fair will be down for the weekend.

Money raised at this event will be used for village projects & with the support of many people and business, the previous festivals have been able to support many village projects including the Community Centre, Youth Club, Christmas lights, Christmas tree, and seats on the green and in St Mary’s churchyard.
