Enjoy a day out to remember exploring this magical museum and historic farm set amidst 50 acres of beautiful Norfolk countryside. Discover the history of the workhouse and the story of the people who lived there. See recreations of traditional cottages and shops. Relax in our tranquil gardens or take a stroll round our atmospheric working farm with its rare breed animals. With substantial indoor displays and beautiful countryside to explore, we guarantee an enjoyable day whatever the weather.
GROUP FACILITIES: Minimum group size - 12, free coach parking, driver/organiser incentives, guided tours - 2 week's notice required plus additional charge, conference facilities, light catering facilities, shop, educational pack (hard copy / electronic), pre-booking required - 2 week's notice for special activities.
SUGGESTED LENGTH OF VISIT: 3 hours
ACCESSIBILITY: Parking by shop. Level or ramped access to all buildings. Lift to upper floor. Free wheelchair hire (6) plus one all terrain scooter. Some gravel paths around buildings and rough ground in farmyard. Free admission for carers. Mobility dogs welcome. Accessible toilets.
MEAL STOP: Light, 80 covers.
We have a lovely cafe that serves hot and cold snacks and meals.
