Details
Orchard Cottage, Gressenhall, is set in the centre of Norfolk, so there’s easy access to Fakenham, Walsingham, Norwich and the coast. Peter and Ann Walker run this B & B, with its modern facilities and cottage charm.
Orchard Cottage sits in a quiet lane on the edge of Gressenhall village, with the market town of Dereham and all its amenities only four miles away. A central position means the whole county is within easy reach, including the North Norfolk coast with all its opportunities for walking, bird-watching, sailing and enjoying the beaches. Visit Fakenham Racecourse, Walsingham Shrine or the fine city of Norwich. Go walking or cycling. Be spoilt for choice if you are interested in historic houses, gardens or natural history or just enjoy a quiet break.
Orchard Cottage is wheelchair-friendly throughout, with disabled facilities. Please check beforehand if you have special requirements.
We welcome children and can provide a cot and highchair. For the cyclist there is a secure cycle store. No problems with drying boots and wet weather clothing.
The en-suite bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, radio alarm clock and television, with hair drier and iron available on request. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
There’s a lounge for relaxing and breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden.
Children welcome from any age.
