Details

During the season (April to Ocotober), day boats can be hired from this office for any period of time up to a whole day, 9.30am to 4:45pm.

They are called Otter, Heron, Grebe, Teal, Bittern and Catchalot, all apart from Heron are electric, making for quiet and easy cruising. They take a crew of between 4 and 7 people. Dogs are permitted but a large dog may count as one crew member.

Each boat is licensed so you can explore the local broads from Geldeston Lock upriver or down to Oulton Broad depending on the amount of time you have. We’ve written a guide to some of the routes, you can read it here.

The cost varies depending on the time you require. Available in advance bookable through our website and on the day subject to availability.
