Stocking up on local produce or searching for a bargain at one of Norfolk's markets or car boot fairs? Make sure that it is signed up to Market Fair to get peace of mind when you buy your goodies. Market Fair is a Norfolk County Council Trading Standards Service scheme that market and car boot organisers sign up to, and aims to provide a safe and pleasant environment for Norfolk visitors and citizens enjoy a day out bargain hunting.

Under the agreement, certain items cannot be sold under the Market Fair scheme, including stolen, unsafe and counterfeit goods, offensive weapons and age restricted goods when they are sold to underage buyers, displayed incorrectly or sold without a licence when one is required. Norwich Market


The largest Monday to Saturday open market in the country, there's over 190 permanent stalls to choose from. Situated in the centre of the city and surrounded by some of Norwich's great historic buildings including the flint 15th Century Guildhall, Norwich Market is a colour explosion!

Underneath the rainbow coloured roofs you will find stalls selling everything imaginable - pick up gourmet cheeses, a fish & chip lunch, books, the latest fashions, secondhand records, handmade fudge, local ice cream and much more.

Great Yarmouth


Open Monday to Saturday, Great Yarmouth's 6 Day Market is a great place to shop for local produce, fresh fish, books, ice cream and more. And don't forget the chips for tea!

 

King's Lynn

King's Lynn has three weekly markets - Tuesdays and Fridays in the Tuesday Market Place, and Saturday in Saturday Market Place - so you're bound to find something to suit all tastes.

 

Swaffham
