From major public collections, such as Norwich Castle and the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, to charming private galleries, there are always scores of high-quality exhibitions in towns and villages across the county.

Norfolk is awash with galleries hosting exciting and innovative exhibitions throughout the year. Norwich Castle Museum and Gallery hosts national and international touring exhibitions as well as having permanent specialist collections of British ceramic teapots, English watercolours, paintings from the Norwich School and Rembrandt etchings. The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts in Norwich also hosts international and national touring exhibitions and specially commissioned shows which are well worth a visit.
If you're out west, then make sure you take in King's Lynn's art galleries - try the King's Lynn Arts Centre and Greyfriars Art Space for regular exhibitions. Norfolk's market towns also have a great range of galleries and are ideal for collectors looking for a slice of Norfolk life. You can spend hours looking around the independent galleries in Holt - try the Bircham Gallery, which has works by over 200 artists and makers.
