Family Fun

There's plenty of Easter activities for all the family over the Easter holidays in Norfolk. RSPB Strumpshaw Fen has an Easter Egg-splorers trail on April 5; Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, South Walsham, has an Easter Egg Trail on April 6, and the Bure Valley Railway is running the Easter Eggspress daily from 6 - 9 April.

BeWILDerwood will be having a Boggle Bow Tie & Bonnet Bounce Off at their curious treehouse adventure park from 2 - 15 April, or you can join in the Easter Eggstravaganser at Pensthorpe Nature Reserve from Mar 30th to 15th April.

Take a Easter Special River Trips (6 - 9 April) on the Broads with Broads Tours - children can take part in the on board nature quiz, Egg hunt and free to enter colouring or drawing competitions. All trips include an entertaining commentary by the skipper, pointing out the nesting birds and newly hatched young.

Or how about a family trip out to the races? Great Yarmouth Racecourse has its Easter Family Fun Day on 9 April, the first race meeting of the season (racing begins at 2.30pm). Fakenham Racecourse also has an Easter Monday meeting, April 9th with racing beginning at 2.00pm.
