| Top of the charts for Visit Norfolk | Visit Norfolk continues to enjoy increasing visitor numbers, thanks to work to ensure we remain prominent in the search engine results, and constantly updating and refreshing content.
2008 saw an overall increase in unique visitors of 7% from 2007, and 2009 continues apace with an increase of 22%!
We’re also top of the charts for the search term ‘Norfolk’ and for a whole host of other search keywords for holidaying in Norfolk. We’ve recently been focusing on Search Engine Optimisation work for Norfolk’s key towns to ensure our visibility to consumers, which in tern will enhance our client’s listings. |

However, an increasing and important element is networking itself. Our presence on Twitter has recently led to a forthcoming Norfolk holiday feature and competition in Prize Magazine, with others to follow. |
| www.visitnorfolk.co.uk – the next generation | We are currently planning the next stage for www.visitnorfolk.co.uk – a new enhanced site that will be an industry-leading destination website with streamlined navigation, added functionality, improved search capabilities and interactive content.
Through the regional Destination Management System (DMS), the site will provide on-line availability and bookability for accommodation and comprehensive, easily searchable databases for attractions, events, eating out and other facilities. Watch this space for an update! |
