| Norwich Cathedral | An integral part of the city for over 900 years, Norwich Cathedral is a spectacular building and leaves a lasting impression on the many people who visit it. Standing at 315ft it has the second tallest spire in England, which can be seen from many points around the city dominating the skyline. Marvel at the stained glass windows, walk around the monastic cloisters and then enjoy some refreshments in the award winning Refectory Restaurant. Visitors are welcome daily, while there are also guided tours available Monday to Saturday. |
| Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery | Step back in time with a visit to Norwich Castle! The result of the Norman invasion, the Castle is now home to some incredible collections including the Boudica Gallery with displays of glimmering Iceni gold and a replica warrior’s chariot. Take a guided tour up on to the battlements where you will experience fantastic views across the city and then for the brave venture into the eerie dungeons – not for the faint hearted! The Castle also features regular art exhibitions from sculpture to modern art. |

| Plantation Garden | | Away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre this is a hidden place where you can escape for a little while. The Plantation Garden, a peaceful retreat, is a Grade II Listed garden with over 3 acres of glorious grounds set in a medieval chalk quarry. Amongst the flowers and lawns there are a number of beautiful features including a gothic fountain, a rustic bridge and many woodland walkways. |
| The Bridewell | Norwich is proud of its history and there are numerous museums where visitors can delve into the past of the city and its people. The Bridewell celebrates the great industries of Norwich, from its chocolate production to its exquisite weaving and the people who made this possible. There are also regular special exhibitions and events held during school holidays making it a perfect place to take children.
