Norfolk Tourism

Norfolk Tourism is the county’s established public and private industry partnership, designed to act as a forum for all Norfolk’s tourism businesses and local authorities.

The partnership evolved from the Shaping the Future Tourism and Leisure Group which was set up to focus on tourism as one of the nine key industrial sectors in the area.

It brings together 38 commercial and public sector organisations with the aim of ensuring that Norfolk has a dynamic and sustainable tourism sector.

Objectives
· Add value to the work of existing organisations
· Maximise efficiencies
· Minimise duplication
· Maximise funding potential

The aim of the Partnership is to make maximum use of resources by working together in the promotion and development of the tourism industry. This is being done by adding value to the considerable amount of very effective work, which is already taking place at a local level throughout Norfolk.

Membership
In the past the Norfolk Tourism partnership has calculated its subscription fee based on a 5% advertising plusage or levy on any hard copy marketing offer that the partner produces.

Norfolk Tourism wishes to be an inclusive organisation and in response to requests from organisations wishing to join the Partnership we have reviewed our approach to membership. The Partnership have therefore agreed that any Association/Organisation wishing to join Norfolk Tourism, as a full member must pay a subscription based on the following:

- Where an Association/Organisation has a hard copy marketing offer then the existing 5% advertising plusage applies.
- If an Association/Organisation does not have a hard copy marketing offer, then the subscription is based on a charge of £5.00 per member or, if greater, 10% of the total current membership fee with a minimum payment of £100.00 per Association/ Organisation
