Martin Sexton was born in Briston, North Norfolk, England, in 1941. After studying Art and Graphic Design at Norwich Art School he pursued a career in this field, eventually becoming Senior Designer at Jarrold Printing in Norwich, undertaking design commissions for many national and international companies. Finding it increasingly difficult to devote enough time to painting, he decided to become a freelance artist in 1987 working from his Broadmead Studio in Sheringham, a decision that he has never regretted and his paintings are commissioned and purchased for private collections in this country and abroad.
