Description

Set in 50 acres of Norfolk parkland, Banham Zoological Gardens, run by the Zoological Society of East Anglia is a conservation hub for endangered species of animals from around the world.

Through conservation, education, and the active involvement of our communities, we are sparking a lifelong interest in people of all ages, to help us protect the rich diversity of our precious world, for all our futures.

Join us to learn more about our incredible animals, including the Amur Tiger, Red Panda, Grevy’s Zebra, and Black-Footed Penguin. Watch as they display their natural instincts, support our conservation initiatives, and enjoy native wildlife, in our green open parkland.

There is so much to see and do, with always something new to discover:

 Step inside of our ‘Tropical House’ where you’ll be transported to South America, with free-flying birds, exotic plants, and animals found across Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela and Paraguay.

 Attend our ‘Amazing Animals!’ presentations to learn how some of our smaller animals use their natural instincts to survive in the wild.

 Join us for daily feeding talks to learn more about our incredible animals, and help support our vital conservation work, by learning how we are protecting animals in their natural habitats.

 Stroll along our raised wooden boardwalk overlooking Giraffe House and go eye to eye with the world’s tallest animal.

 Learn more about our natural world and join our Conservation Education team to meet some of the park’s smallest residents in the Discovery Centre for Conservation Education.

 Head to the ‘Farm Barn’ to meet our friendly domestic livestock and learn more about the animals you see every day.
