Steam railway and National Trust

The Bure Valley RailwayThe Bure Valley Railway in the beautiful Norfolk Broads.

Start from the Broads town of Wroxham, and take the 11.10am train from the Bure Valley Railway and experience the magic of steam through nine miles of Norfolk countryside before arriving at the historic market town of Aylsham at 12.40pm.

Then it's a ten minute drive by coach to the impressive Jacobean National Trust property, Blickling Hall, birthplace of Anne Boleyn (her headless ghost is said to haunt the place). Blickling is one of the Seven Wonders of Norfolk!

Take refreshments at the hall itself or nearby Buckinghamshire Arms. Blickling has a magnificent house, gardens and extensive grounds.
