Places to eat on the Broads

You've been boating for a few hours and you're feeling peckish. Real visitors suggest some of their favourite pubs and restaurants on the Norfolk Broads.

Richardson's Boating Holidays asked fans on their Facebook Page for tips and suggestions...

Leanne Coupland The Malsters all the way - great food, welcoming and so so much more. Also there's fish and chips night at the little pub at Upton Dyke.

Maggie Ward The fish and chip shops at Wroxham. You get good service... and large fish!

Daniel Hallen The Acle Bridge Inn has to be my favourite; great atmosphere, excellent food and reasonable prices. Not to mention the staff are very friendly. Also, the Wherry Hotel at Oulton does a great carvery.

Nigel Brooks The White Horse is good, as is The Kings Arms at Ludham.

Jon Warman The Ferry Inn. The carvery is out of this world.

Jarc Bodyshop The Fur and Feathers at Woodbastwick takes a lot of beating!

Mark Wilson The Ferry Inn in Stokesby is my choice!

Alan Boland The Bridge Restaurant at Wroxham. The breakfast is wonderful.

Rebecca Hall The Ferry Inn at Horning was our favourite. There are some nice places at Oulton Broad too! The pub near the swing bridge in Reedham is also a great place to watch the world go by while having a drink when the weather is nice.

Darryl Stephen Plover There is a nice Chinese in Horning between The Swan and The Ferry Inn or on a sunny day any river bank anywhere with the BBQ going.

Brendan Shields The Lion Inn at Thurne is good, as is the pub at Stokesby.

Wendy Gregory Horning's Ferry Inn is a must. It's categorically the best carvery ever. There's also The Old Mill Restaurant and Cafe bar in Wroxham, Greys fish and chips in Wroxham, The Sun Inn in Coltishall, The Lion Inn at Thurne, The Ferry Inn at Stokesby and Reedham, the restaurant at Wroxham Barns.

Vicky Travers The Ship in South Walsham - though it's a bit of a trek from the Broads.

Steve Jennings The Acle Bridge Inn. Brilliant.

Maggie Ward Hotel Wroxham do a lovely carvery.

Gloria Kearns The Berney Arms. We got a warm welcome, and the landlord even helped us to moor up. The Ferry Inn at Horning is very nice and friendly too. It’s also great as you can use the shower facilities and swimming pool at marina at the side of the pub.

Claire Burgin Got to be Acle Bridge Inn.

Rachael Jennings The Surlingham Ferry.

Dave Gibson The Dog Inn near Ludham Bridge is nice.
