If you are visiting the Broads I have to recommend that you spend some time on or near the water!
You may choose to hire a cabin cruiser from one of the many boatyards and spend a week or short break leisurely exploring 125 miles of lock-free, stunning waterways.
If you prefer to be land-based you can still experience the joys of being afloat by hiring a self-drive dayboat, or for the more energetic, a canoe.
Alternatively you can take a boat trip, sit back, relax and let the crew do all of the work as you enjoy the live commentary. There are also many great places to stay.
The Broads offers many stunning walks and with the network of quiet lanes is the ideal location for cycling. There are many cycle hire facilities around the Broads.
The Broads also boasts some excellent eating establishments many using locally produced food. Look out for the Broads Quality Charter Mark.
For families visiting the Broads, BeWILDerwood the Curious Tree House Adventure Park is a must day out as is the award-winning visitor attraction, Wroxham Barns.
The Broads truly is Britain's Magical Waterland and all of us who live and work here are proud to share it with you.
