Norfolk Tourism offers a wide range of advertising opportunities, both online at www.visitnorfolk.co.uk and offline at exhibitions or campaign leaflets.

Whether you're an accommodation provider, attraction owner or event organiser, as the county's official visitor website, Visit Norfolk connects you to thousands of consumers each month.
The website links into the regional Destination Management System (DMS) - a complete tourism management database including accommodation, attractions, events, activities and other tourism venues. The information is then distributed to a number of channels (fees may apply), including tourist board websites, Tourist Information Centres and interactive kiosks. In addition the DMS passes data directly into the National Tourism Open Platform (previously called EnglandNet) which (until March 2012) feeds data to the National Tourist Board websites visitbritain.com and enjoyengland.com.

Guestlink
Guestlink is an award-winning system that allows accommodation providers, visitor attraction or event organisers to update their listings within the DMS. Accommodation providers can also update pricing, availability and receive and manage bookings online. You can find more information about the system at www.guestlink.co.uk.
If you have any queries about Guestlink, or have not received your login details, please do not hesitate to phone the Guestlink Helpdesk on 0845 1662217 or by email on helpdesk@guestlink.co.uk.
They will be happy to talk through the system and offer a webinar session for further help should you wish.
Norfolk Tourism has hosted two Guestlink presentations (Serviced Accommodation and Self Catering) already, and we hope to run more in the future.

Ensure you make the most of your listing on the new www.visitnorfolk.co.uk - add availability, reservability or bookability details to your entry to increase your bookings! With online holiday bookings increasing year on year, make sure that you are providing your business with the opportunities to grow. 51% of the UK population have bought travel options online and this will only increase.
Via Guestlink, you have the option to show an availability calendar, and also enable the customer to reserve or book the room / property. The reserve function offers the consumer available dates from which they can reserve - you are then contacted with their details to finalise the booking. Bookability (or Real Time Allocation) enables consumers to book the room or cottage there and then - and Visit Norfolk are not charging commission! By keeping your availability up-to-date you will also be more prominent to consumers.
If you have added availability, reservability or bookability via Guestlink, please contact Janet Robertson to ensure that this facility shows on Visit Norfolk.

Norfolk Tourism and the Norwich & Norfolk Conference Bureau attend a series of exhibitions each year in which we promote Norfolk as a destination. You can get involved with shows with either Leaflet or Full participation.
The team have now booked stands at the Outdoors Show (Excel 12-15th January) and Excursions (Alexandra Palace 28th January); if you are interest in stand sharing or sending leaflets with us then please contact Louisa Kiddell ASAP on 01603 222846.There are three ways that you can add your events to Visit Norfolk and the regional Destination Management System:
Please allow plenty of time to promote your event - your event should be added to the database within 7-10 working days of receipt.
Please note that not all event fields (e.g. website, email address, images) may be shown on Visit Norfolk if you are not a current advertiser.
Visit Norfolk reserves the right to reject submissions.
