Welcome to Norfolk's essential guide for Group Travel, including where to go, where to stay and what to do. Norfolk has a lot to offer the group visitor, from the historic city of Norwich, the mysterious waterways of The Broads and the bustling market towns, to the tranquil 90 mile coastline and the busy seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth, Sheringham, Cromer and Hunstanton.
Find out where coaches to Norwich and throughout Norfolk can park or drop off. You can even find Norfolk coach operators if you want to arrange your own coach trip! If you're in the trade, view or request our Norfolk Travel Trade Manual for more information.

Norfolk Tourism's Travel Trade Manual 2012, the 13th edition of the essential guide to group travel in the county, is out shortly.
The travel trade manual, which is packed with information on places to visit and stay, meal stops, guided tours and special events, is mailed to 8,000 contacts. Group buyers can also pick up a copy and meet the Norfolk Tourism team at a variety of exhibitions throughout 2012.
The travel trade manual provides both essential information for coach operators and organisers and ideas for year round visits to the county. Some of these include Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, former host of BBC Springwatch and the Norfolk & Norwich Festival in spring, plus Cromer Carnival and the Sandringham Flower Show in summer. Followed by Great Yarmouth's Maritime Festival and the EDP Bidwells Norfolk Food Festival in September, as well as Thursford's famous Christmas Spectacular in November and December, and the fabulous winter Festival of Swans at Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Welney.

Norfolk Tourism has launched a microsite www.visitnorfolk2012.com to promote the county as a London 2012 base for visiting the Games.
Norfolk is the closest major holiday destination to London and is under two hours by train direct to the Olympic Park. Train services from Norwich and Diss in the south of the county go to Stratford. Trains from King's Lynn and Downham Market in the west of the county go to King's Cross, and will be connected to the Olympic Park by the six-minute Javelin service.
The microsite is a one-stop shop for visitors arranging a holiday in Norfolk combined with a visit to the London Games. It features information about Games venues and transport, as well as links to accommodation in Norfolk, things to do and key events including the Cultural Olympiad and Torch Relay in the county. An interactive map of Norfolk helps plan a stay.
