Set in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside, within earshot of the whistles of the Bure Valley Railway and within sight of the Bittern Line trains. It really is well worth a visit, a must for any rail enthusiast.

Ashmanhaugh Light Railway's Open Days next year are Sundays, 6 May, 3 June, 1 July, 5 August, 2 September and 7 October. The railway will be open from 2 til 5 pm, weather permitting, and our comfortable sit in coaches will be hauled by a variety of steam, petrol and electric powered locos around our interesting, landscaped and fully signalled circuit. Light refreshments will be available. Sorry but no dogs allowed.

By Road:
We're just past Wroxham off the Stalham Road at Beeston St Lawrence (signposted Ashmanhaugh) or if you come to Wroxham Barns take the first right after the Barns, then left at the crossroads and the Railway is on the left, just follow the signs on Open Days.
