Take a guided trip on the solar boat Ra to experience the watery wildlife at Whitlingham Country Park. Surrounded by green banks and woodlands, it's hard to believe how close you are to the city. Ra is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
April, May and October : weekends, bank holidays, Easter week and local half term only.
Trips last about 50 minutes and costs are: adults £5, children and concessions (over 60s) £4, family ticket (based on 2 adults with 2 children) £15. Tickets are on sale at Whitlingham visitor centre, open daily 10.00-4.00pm (5.00pm for duration of school summer holidays), and can be paid in cash, with debit/credit card or cheque payable to the Broads Authority.

Take the A146 towards Norwich, turn right at the ring road, then turn right at the roundabout towards Trowse. Shortly afterwards turn left down Whitlingham Lane.

Buses go from Norwich to Trowse, then there is a 25 minute walk along Whitlingham Lane to the park.
