Church, free entry

St Peter's at Clippesby is a very attractive church with a round tower base and an octagonal top built in 1875.

The main church is noted for its antiquity dating from the 12th century. Inside there are some fine pew carvings of the signs of the four evangelists by a past rector, Henry Muskett, whose memorial is also in the church.

Opening details

The church is normally open weekdays from dawn until dusk, but a key may be obtained from the reception at Clippesby Holidays in the summer season and from 'Buxkyn' past the church in Church Lane.

Services are at 6.30pm on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in Summer and at 6pm in Winter.
