Details

Fritton is a small village to the south-west of Great Yarmouth surrounded by woodland and marshes with lovely walks through Waveney Forest to the river and a pub, restaurant and 18-hole golf course nearby. Walks along the River Waveney afford views of the deserted Fritton Marsh Drainage Mill.

Hotel, B&b and holiday park accommodation in lovel Woodland Lodges is available in and around the village.

The small village of Fritton borders Fritton Lake, also known as Fritton Decoy, part of the Somerleyton Estate which straddles the Norfolk/Suffolk border. The lake is a beautiful privately owned waterway and day visitor attraction with children's activities.
