Priory Gardens, a quiet oasis of peace, tranquillity and beauty it was left to the town by the Hill family. The house was demolished with the exception of one small building and their legacy was this peaceful park in the centre of Gorleston. It was here that an archaeology dig revealed the Gorleston Hoard, which can now be seen in The Time and Tide museum.
Linking Church Road with Gorleston High Street, next to the recently created Gorleston Conservation Area the gardens are well known for their floral bedding displays.
