Find out why the 100th Bomb Group was nicknamed ‘The Bloody Hundredth’.

The 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum is dedicated to preserving the stories and memories of the American involvement in World War Two based at Thorpe Abbotts. Our displays housed in the original World War Two control tower and surrounding atmospheric buildings focus on the key figures of the 100th Bomb Group and tell tales of heroics, heartache and humour.

Plenty to do for all the family including children’s trails. Our friendly volunteers serve light refreshments in our Visitor Centre and our shop sells lots of unique souvenirs and gifts. Why not make a day of it and bring a picnic to enjoy in our peaceful grounds.
